Boris Weisfeiler

Boris was a lovely sweet Institute for Advanced Study colleague who I used to discuss Lie algebras. He dissapeared while hiking in Chile January 4 1985, presumably tortured and killed by Nazis at Colonia Dignidad, presumably for looking Jewish and having a Jewish name (guilty on both counts).
