Date: Tue, 1 Apr 2008 20:21:36 +0200 From: Jutho Haegeman I have a question concerning the use of the calculation of 3-j and 6-j coefficients. It seems like a basic question, but I don't really seem to fully understand the details of the calculation process. I have already sent this question to Tony, but the formulation was a bit messy. I thought about it, and read about it, but although I found many books describing the relation between Young Tableaux and Irreps of the unitary group, none seem to deal with using this relation to calculate 3-j and 6-j coefficients. I think I'd like a bit more detail, or some more examples, than that found in the webbook. A good reference book can also help? My question is formulated in the "A sample 6j confusion" link. Thanks for any help, Jutho
